UAE 2023

One keeps hearing that it is hot in the summer and who would want to go to UAE.

The catch is that ideally, one can get away with 1/3rd the price for hotels/AirBNBs, that one would have to pay at other times.

Also, one gets loads of Free-Vitamin-D throughout the summer, a blessing not available in all parts of the worlds.

A VISIT TO CARREFOUR

Carrefour is one store in Asia, where I can spend my full days without getting bored. Although I cannot bring back all the amazing cutlery, thermoses, stationary and tempting food, just walking through the aisles gives me a sense of being home. Here are some pics I have captured - in lieu of carrying heavy bags.

Baklava to die for - Other than Shatila's in Michigan and Arz Bakery in Toronto, there is honestly no comparison to Middle-Eastern Baklava.
