Global Homes

The home should always be where the heart is. However, unfortunately, that is not always possible. Following are memories or landmarks of  where we once lived. Of all the neighbourhoods, my personal fav are certainly the KDA in Karachi and the Qurban street in Medina. Even when I go to these areas today, there is always a sense of coming home - mashaAllah.

Of course I get my Middle-Eastern spirit from the fact that I was born in Dubai.

One time an immigration officer at the UAE airport called out that 'So you were actually born here!'

Although, I have no personal recollection of the 'Al-Wahda bldg' in Sharjah, but this was called out by my uncle in 2021, that my parents lived here in the early 80's.

Saving this as a treasurable memory!
